General Data Protection Regulation
Information provided pursuant to Articles 13-14 of GDPR 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).
Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and in relation to the data that we will collect, for the purpose of protecting individuals and other entities regarding the processing of personal data, we hereby inform you of the following:
1. Purpose of Data Processing
- Achieving the institutional objectives of the Association.
- Fulfilling current administrative/accounting/tax obligations.
- Enabling us to send you messages, phone calls, emails, etc.
2. Data Processing Methods
The methods used for processing personal data include digital and physical archiving, possibly including photos and videos.
3. Data Provision
Providing data for the purposes specified in point 1 is mandatory, as failure to authorize this will prevent acceptance of your membership application as a Member.
4. Data Communication and Dissemination
The data provided may be shared with:
- ACSI National, Regional, and Provincial Headquarters.
- CONI.
- Social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Their dissemination may be arranged within the premises of our Association. If no communication to other entities or dissemination of personal data is anticipated, the data provided will not be disclosed or disseminated.
5. Data Controller
The data controller is Swing Age Palermo.
6. Safeguarding

7. Data Subject Rights
At any time, you may exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which include:
- Requesting confirmation of the existence of your personal data.
- Obtaining information on the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data have been or will be disclosed, and, where possible, the retention period.
- Requesting data rectification or deletion.
- Requesting the limitation of processing.
- Requesting data portability, i.e., receiving your data from the data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and transmitting it to another controller without impediments.
- Objecting to processing at any time, including for direct marketing purposes.
- Objecting to automated decision-making, including profiling.
- Requesting access to personal data and rectification or deletion of such data or restriction of processing, or objecting to their processing, as well as the right to data portability.
- Revoking consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Filing a complaint with the supervisory authority.

8. Consent Declaration
The User authorizes SwingAge Palermo, pursuant to Law 31/12/1996 No. 675, to process and communicate personal data, subject to compliance with current regulations.
The User authorizes SwingAge Palermo to publish images of themselves and/or their child(ren) on the Association’s website and/or Facebook pages, as well as to use such images for promotional purposes.
The User prohibits their use in contexts that could harm their personal dignity or for purposes other than those specified. The undersigned confirms they have no claims arising from the aforementioned authorization and irrevocably waives any rights or actions related thereto.
The User authorizes SwingAge Palermo, pursuant to Law 31/12/1996 No. 675, to process and communicate personal data. Moreover, the User declares they are fully authorized to exercise parental/guardianship rights over the minor and authorizes the collection and processing of data required for access to training activities.
The User consents to the use of personal data by the Association pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and GDPR 679/2016 for the purposes of profiling and direct communication (via email, phone messaging, regular mail) to achieve the institutional objectives of the Association.
Authorization is granted for the photography and/or filming of the User/minor, conducted solely for institutional purposes, during activities and/or events organized by the Association.
Consent is also given for the processing and publication, for institutional purposes only, of videos, photographs, and/or images that may reveal the identity of the undersigned or the minor on the Association’s website, its periodicals, and notice boards within its premises.
